Radisson Blu Water Garden organize Australian Food Festival.


Radisson Blu Water Garden is celebrating the unique culinary culture of Australia in the Australian food festival titled ‘A Taste of Australia’, commencing from March 29 to April 6.

After a highly successful Australian Food Festival last year, Radisson Blu Water Garden is hosting the Australian themed festival with authentic flavours of Australia and festive decorations inspired by Australian culture.

Australian banners are going up on posts. Meet, greet and take photos with a family of kangaroo sculptures and beautiful lighting decorations in the lobby area in celebration of the rich heritage of Australia.

‘A Taste of Australia’ is taking place in their world-class buffet restaurant, Water Garden Brasserie. The festival was inaugurated by Sally-Anne Vincent, the Acting High Commissioner (Chargé d’ Affaires) on March 29.

Water Garden Brasserie is taking the Australian culture to heart with decorations everywhere and flags at the dinner tables. The dinner event will run from 6:30pm to 11pm every evening during the festival.

Jed Archdeacon, Executive Chef, Radisson Blu Water Garden is spearheading the event by introducing special culinary traditions from his home country, Australia. Special ingredients for the event are imported directly from Australia from the most prominent producing regions, especially the meat and the cheese.

The menu, designed by Chef Jed Archdeacon is very exquisite and will feature the exclusive and rare Wagyu Beef, sourced specially from hand-selected cattle, imported from Australia. The centrepiece is a whole Grilled Australian Lamb and Special Lamb Pie.

Complementing the main courses, there will be Australia’s Special Lamington Cake to sweeten the palate. Specially assorted cheese from the best cheese-making regions of Australia will also be featured for the dining pleasures of its guests.

As a bonus surprise, there will be a Raffle Draw for the dine-in guests, with a chance to win exciting prizes.

With their expertise in the fields of culinary arts and the service industry, Radisson Blu Water Garden is hosting this festival to spice up the palate and introduce new flavours to the denizens of Dhaka. This event will surely be a treat for food lovers and culture enthusiasts alike.
