Cox’s Bazar: The Longest Sea Beach in the World. (Part-1)


Whenever we talk about Cox’s Bazar, the first thing that comes to our imagination is the world’s longest uninterrupted natural sandy sea beach. On the other side of the beach, there is an array of attractive hills and green trees. Its natural beauty will make you feel like a piece of heaven in the world. If anyone comes closer of this tranquil nature, his or her mind will automatically be filled with happiness. That is why, tourists from different parts of the world come here to enjoy its picturesque beauty.
For newly married couple, Cox’s Bazar is perhaps the first choice for planning their honeymoon. The 125-km long sandy beach, which is scattered with luxurious and budget hotels and motels, has become the perfect place for couple to romance each other during their honeymoon. It is also the perfect place for family tour. People of different ages enjoy swimming, sun bathing, walking along the beach drawing their foot into heel-deep water.
Apart from passing beautiful time witnessing the natural beauty of the sea beach and its surroundings, people can enjoy shopping from local Burmese market located close to the beach. Ornaments and showpiece made by seashell, locally made cigars and beauty products such as soap and powder made of sandal off, handmade clothes, bed sheets, dresses, shoes and others can be found in this market.
Based on the diversity of flora and fauna, different parts of the beach have been given different names- Laboni Beach, Sughandha Beach, Himchari Beach, Inani Beach, and Teknaf Beach.
